Smartworks leases 3L sq ft in Bengaluru Suburb

Flexible workspaces provider Smartworks has picked up 3 lakh sq ft on lease at global technology park, commercial property in Bellandur, a Bengalu­ru suburb.

The workspace has seating capa­city of 6,000 and with this centre, Smartworks’ total footprint in In­dia has reached 2 million sq ft across 20 centres.

The facility is scheduled to be operational from December 2018. More than 60% of the space has already been pre-booked by leading enterprises including Deluxe with 1,200 seats, Altron with 220 se­ats and Play Games24X7 with 450 seats. Smartworks already counts Tata Communications, Microsoft, ArcelorMittal, Amazon, Lenovo, and Olx among its clients. “There has been huge interest from large enterprises and we are looking at opening more facilities hi Benga­luru,” said Neetish Sarda, founder of Smartworks.
