Smartworks aims 10 million sq ft footprint by 2022

NEW DELHI: Smartworks, the homegrown shared office spaces provider, plans to expand its footprint to 10 million square feet by 2022.

It’s seeing increasing demand across segments including micro-markets. Smartworks claims to be the leading player in Chennai and Pune on a consolidated basis; boasting a growing footprint of six lakh square feet, spread across eight facilities. Smartworks today drives one-third of its revenue from these cities with over 11,000 seats, according to a release.

In fact, with a likely increase in demand for shared office spaces, Smartworks plans to expand its footprint by adding more than two million square feet in these micro-markets by 2021.

A focus on value creation for clients, quality of services, state of the art infrastructure, design and tech-enabled spaces has helped the firm consolidate its leadership position, the release said.

With a growing footprint across pan India, Smartworks is focused on serving large enterprises in need of new-age office spaces and is in a leading position to cater to both existing as well as projected demand for office space, the release added.

Smartworks has a diversified client base comprising of IT/ITES, manufacturing, healthcare, automobiles, BFSI, Marketing and HR companies.
